Work by Kris Gregson Moss
Kris' love of nature and desire to see all the details has led her to do the same thing with fabric.  She looks for pattern and movement, luster, and all the hues of color. The fabric is her inspiration with all its minute intricacies which are then  accented with stitches, beads, stones, and other embellishments. When building with fabric to create the shapes and forms, Kris is working to get the fabric to get up and dance.  In addition to her two and three dimensional art, she loves teaching in her own studio where students can take classes in fabric collage, painting with fabric, squiggles and (reverse appliqué technique).
