Fenimore Coffeehouse

Tickets are $9.00 at the door. Doors open at 6:30 pm.
Refreshments are available. The following is a short article on the

FENIMORE COFFEEHOUSE was inspired by the Kingsbury Coffeehouse of a
few years ago. The enviornment and closeup entertaiment
made peole feel a part of the show.
A group began searching for a venue in South Glens Falls. The
Eagles Club of South Glens Falls stepped forward and encouraged to
group to move forward with a plan for a monthly Coffeehouse.
The name "Fenimore" seemed logical because of the Fenimore
Bridge and other ties to Fenimore in the region.
The opening concert featured Frank Orsini, George Wilson, and Josh
Ward. The room was set up, candles lighted, homemade pies
baked, coffee and tea brewed, and the crowd came. Since that
spring evening in 2006, a variety of music and groups have
performed at the Fenimore Coffeehouse. The sponsors say,
"We've never had an audience go away disappointed. Every show
has been a rousing success for the audience as well as the groups
themselves. Many of the groups have asked to return to play
again. They all enjoy the venue and the cozy atmosphere."
Since then, they have added a 50/509 drawing each month for a local
agency. They have supported the Glens Falls Youth Coalition,
the Moreau Rescue Squad, Saratoga County Hospice, Eagles Food
Baskets, YMCA Community Kids Scholarship Fund, and more. The
group is proud of the support that is retuned to the generosity of
those attending the Coffeehouse.
The community is invited to come and enjoy an evening of musical
pleasure and excellent desserts.
