Lapham Gallery 2010 Exhibitions

Each year, Lapham Gallery presents four to six exhibitions of fine art and craft in all media created by local and regional professional artists. Work must be recent, original, and must not have been shown as a solo exhibition in our gallery during the three years prior to submission. We encourage applicants working in all disciplines, including textiles, 3-dimensional work, and mixed mediums.

LARAC is pleased to be part of The Hyde Collection's collaboration with area arts and community organizations to present the Season of Degas - a full summer/fall calendar of Degas-related events.

The Hyde Collection's exhibition "Degas & Music", is a first-time, exclusive presentation of the music-inspired works of French Impressionist Edgar Degas (1834-1917), which will be held from July 12 to October 18. Visitors will experience 30 works, culled from major museum collections in North America and Europe, carefully selected to illustrate the musical theme. www.hydecollection.org
