LARAC brings art to the forefront

We are the heartbeat of the arts community.

You’ll find us hosting gallery receptions, planning festivals, offering skill-building workshops for adults, doling out grant funding, connecting artists with businesses and with each other, attending community meetings, and everything in between.

We advocate for the arts.

LARAC Galleries

LARAC’s Lapham Gallery & new Mountain Gallery host exhibitions featuring local, regional, and national artistic talent working in a variety of different mediums and genres. Lapham Gallery also has a gift shop.

Our festivals feature handmade artisan products such as pottery, fiber, jewelry, photography, apparel and gourmet foods as well as live music and all kinds of creative delights.

LARAC provides resources to the art community including exhibition opportunities and calls to artists, networking, information and connections.

LARAC’s programming including artist workshops, children’s classes, critiques, business seminars for artists, musical performances and more.

We award NYSCA funding to grant recipients including arts organizations and individual artists, and offer guidance on how to apply.

LARAC members are first to learn about calls to artists, receive discounts in the shop, gallery and events, and are the artists we showcase!

Support LARAC

When you support LARAC, you support the arts.

More than 3,000 artists are represented yearly by LARAC, and more than 50,000 community members of all ages are exposed to the arts each year because of the work we do. Since 1999, we have administered thousands of regrant dollars to artists and organizations in Warren and Washington Counties, in partnership with the New York State Council on the Arts. LARAC is a 501(c)3 tax deductible charity.
